These terms govern your use of the Gaze macOS app and the gaze.iney.app website. By downloading, installing or using Gaze, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Gaze.
The app
Gaze is a menu-bar magnifier for macOS. It magnifies your screen locally and offers tools to freeze the frame, annotate, pin a region and highlight the cursor. Gaze requires a recent version of macOS and works on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Free and Pro
The free core of Gaze is free to use for as long as we offer it. Gaze Pro unlocks the full feature set. Every install includes a 14-day Pro trial so you can use all Pro features before deciding to buy.
License
Gaze Pro is licensed to you, not sold. Subject to these terms and to payment, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Gaze Pro on Macs that you personally own or control. A Lifetime license is a one-time purchase that includes all future updates to Gaze with no recurring charge, for as long as the product exists.
Acceptable use
- Do not copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense or share your license or the email it is tied to.
- Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to circumvent the licensing of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Do not use Gaze to capture, magnify or display content you have no right to view or show.
- Do not use Gaze in any way that breaks applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate a license that is obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these terms.
Purchase, price and payment
Gaze Pro is offered as a one-time purchase. The launch price is $19 (regularly $39). Payment is handled by Lava.top, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase; their checkout terms also apply to the transaction. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases, but a price you have already paid will not be charged again for your Lifetime license.
Trial and refunds
The 14-day trial is free and requires no payment. After you purchase, a 30-day money-back guarantee applies, no questions asked, as described in our Refund Policy.
Updates and changes to the app
We may improve, change, add or remove features over time. We may also discontinue Gaze. A Lifetime license includes updates to the current product for as long as it exists; it does not obligate us to develop specific features or to maintain the product indefinitely.
Intellectual property
Gaze, its name, logo and software are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you beyond the license granted above.
Disclaimer of warranties
Gaze is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for how you use Gaze and for the content you choose to magnify or display.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Gaze. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of Gaze after a change means you accept the updated terms.
